Running Around the Clock, Raining and Storming Together，Jiangsu Huabeng Group Rushed to Support the Construction of Hong Kong Square Pod Hospital

On 9th March, the container fleet of Jiangsu Huapeng Group Co., Ltd. loaded with 24 sets of 1500kVA and 6 sets of 2000kVA transformers was shipped to Hong Kong. Party Secretary and General Manager Qian Jun witnessed the shipment of the products.

Talking about the rescue operation, Mr Qian said as follows.

I believe that every enterprise will do its best in epidemic prevention and control, in supporting Hong Kong, and assume due corporate and social responsibility, in the process, we still do very limited. But we also promise that we will do our best to respond positively whenever and wherever necessary in the fight against the epidemic!

What is the process of this relief operation?

Recently, there was an outbreak of epidemic in Hong Kong, and the company maintained constant attention to the prevention and control situation. We learnt that an important customer, Hong Kong China Light and Power, was participating in the construction of Hong Kong Square Cabin Hospital, and at the same time, they were in urgent need of a batch of distribution transformers. After getting the affirmative reply from the customer, the company responded quickly, organised and arranged personnel to safeguard the task of transformer deployment and production, and focused on deploying advantageous resources to ensure that the supply was completed in the shortest possible time with quality and quantity. With the full co-operation and assistance of Hong Kong shipping company Orient Overseas, this batch of emergency supplies could be shipped smoothly on the same day.

At the critical moment of emergency repair and power supply, Huapeng dared to take up the responsibility and rise to the challenge. The company always practices its mission in this way: on March 7, 2020, 50MVA 110kV transformer produced by Huapeng was urgently shipped to Xianning, Hubei, to support the emergency comprehensive transformation of Puqi substation in the region, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project of Hubei's power protection against the epidemic; on July 26, 2021, knowing that Henan urgently asked for help with a batch of 500kVA 10kV power transformers, Huapeng immediately organised the surprise attack! On 26th July 2021, knowing that Henan urgently requested a batch of 500kVA 10kV power transformers, Huapeng immediately organised a surprise working group, and finally matched the qualified transformers through all-out efforts of mapping and calibrating, and shipped them out in the evening.
